Experienced Heavy Equipment Sales Consultant

Position Overview

Excelko is looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Sherbrooke and our upcoming Granby branch. We are seeking a motivated sales professional who is passionate about building strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding service. While experience in the agricultural or construction equipment industry is considered a strong asset, we also welcome candidates with a successful background in automotive, industrial, commercial, or other B2B sales environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

• Identify customer needs and recommend the right equipment and solutions.

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.

• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.

• Achieve individual and team sales objectives.

• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities using the company's CRM.

• Stay informed about products, promotions, financing options, and industry trends.

• Represent the company professionally at customer visits, demonstrations, and industry events.

• Collaborate with the service and parts departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales with a strong track record of achieving results.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building abilities.

• Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.

• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.

• Valid driver's license.

• Experience selling heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, trucks, or industrial products is a strong asset but not required.
